• Gain significant knowledge in the area of surgical implant placement, using a detailed and repeatable process that will allow dentists to start surgical procedures in their own practice
• Be able to create easy-to-use flow charts for case selection, surgical site assessment, implant selection, biomaterials options, and patient management
• After this course, the dentist should feel confident and ready to begin and grow the implant portion of their practice
• Course Attendees are encouraged to bring their own patient; this would allow for following up and restoring the case. If Course Attendee does not bring their own patient, a patient will be provided
• Course Attendee must submit x-rays and documentation to Mentor 2 weeks prior to course. Attendee will be responsible for patient's transportation and lodging if applicable

This course is designed for the General Dentist who is interested in learning more about basic surgical principles and protocols to initiate the process of placing implants. The goal is to empower dentists with the knowledge and confidence necessary to start a simple dental implant practice. After this course, participants should be able to develop their own protocol for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical placement, and prosthetic restoration of single-tooth posterior implants. This immersive course includes lecture, hands-on typodont training and live surgical implant placement.
